Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast who was captain of her team in the US female Olympic gymnastics the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as in 2016. She was named the Final Five. At the 2012 Olympics in London she clinched gold medals in floor and team competitions, as well as a bronze medal on the balance beam. It made her the first American gymnast in the Olympics to win the most medals. In the 2016 Olympics she won a gold medal in the team event, which gave her and her teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of being among the first Americans to have two consecutive teams gold medals. Also, she took home silver medals in the individual all-around and for floor exercise. The three years that passed between her two Olympic Games, she went on a break. She was also part of two gold-winning American team in gymnastics. When she was just 2 when she started to study gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is floor exercises. Aly believes in her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. In the future, she intends to pursue a career in fashion. Aly would like to extend her leotards line and socks collection. She's currently writing a novel named Fierce that will be released during the course of the year.
